About OMGVPN (OMG VPN aka Oh My God VPN)

As mentioned above, the purpose of this website is to help you connect to a free VPN (this is what you find yourself) to access anywhere in the world. VPN servers are divided into 2 categories, VPN Gate public servers and our sponsored VPN servers. It's our priority to make connecting to a VPN as easy and fast as possible (no need to sign up for an account or provide any information), hopefully this website will be a useful place for you. However, you should also note that using a VPN for destructive purposes is not welcome (see the terms of service).
You should note that: IPv4 and IPv6 addresses can work completely independent of each other (dualstack), and normally VPN servers prefer IPv4 addresses. Therefore, if you need more security, you should turn off IPv6 addresses completely to avoid connection leaks.
In addition, we also provide you with free public DNS through security protocols such as DoH (DNS over HTTPS), DoT (DNS over TLS), DoQ (DNS over QUIC), downstream servers also use DoH. Make your internet access safer than ever (no logs and support DNSSEC), because when using secure DNS, your queries cannot be intercepted and redirected like traditional UDP53 DNS.
How OMGVPN's secure DNS work?
- You (location X) => send DoH/DoT/DoQ request => OMGVPN static DNS (location Y).
- OMGVPN (Y) => forward DNS query => downstream DoH recursive servers (Cloudflare, Google, Quad9, AdGuard, CleanBrowsing).
- Downstream DNS => response records => OMGVPN (based on location Y).
- OMGVPN (Y) => response records => your (unicast) queries will now be counted according to the geographic location of the OMGVPN DNS server. If you use Cloudflare, Google, Quad9, AdGuard, CleanBrowsing,... DNS directly, your queries will return according to current geography.
Advantages of using this type of DNS: end-to-end security; can freely choose any location to query DNS (applicable in many jobs); can also increase query speed (because you can choose a server closer to you than recursive DNS),...
