This is a free tool for remotely determining whether a TCP port is open or closed. It is useful for users who want to check port forwarding and see if a server is running or if a firewall or ISP is blocking specific ports. Remote computers can connect to a specific computer or service on a private network using port forwarding or port mapping. This enables you to run a web server, game server, or other service from behind a router. In a typical network, the router has the public IP address, and computers/servers get a private IP address from the router that cannot be accessed from outside the network. When you forward a port on your router, you are telling it where to send traffic for that port. This utility can validate the process's success. In addition, this tool also helps you check if any address is open TCP port or not.
